A very unusual piece for this artist, at such a late date in his career as he is mostly known for his landscapes using watercolour. This piece harkens back to mixed media larger, similar works created in the early to late 1960’s.

Toni Onley (1928 – 2004) was a celebrated Canadian artist known for his ethereal landscapes and mastery of watercolors, capturing the unique beauty of British Columbia's natural scenery. His work often reflects his deep connection to the Canadian wilderness, especially the rugged coastlines and tranquil waters of the Pacific Northwest.
